Brain injury survivors can often feel lonely because of their misunderstood symptoms. Headway Shropshire helps brain injury survivors not feel alone. We provide support and services that cater to their recovery and social needs.
And through fundraising, we are allowed to continue providing the support brain injury survivors need.

How fundraising events help brain injury survivors
Fundraising goes beyond just collecting funds.
They are also ways to raise awareness, persuade people, and build a community and environment where brain injury survivors aren’t left to alone:
- Fundraising events can help sustain our programmes, activities and operations to ensure we improve life after a brain injury.
- Fundraising events are our way of raising awareness to the struggles and needs of survivors so interventions for their recovery are always available
- Fundraising events give us the space to build a community that is passionate about helping brain injury survivors, which overall, creates a safe and supportive environment for brain injury survivors.
