Do I need experience to be a volunteer?
Anyone can be a volunteer for Headway Shropshire! We will provide training and ensure you are confident in your role.
How does volunteering make a difference?
We rely on volunteers to support our work. By offering their time, volunteers help us sustain our efforts in making a difference in the lives of brain injury survivors.
As a volunteer, you can enrich the client’s experience and ensure that they always feel safe. You can be part of a team that cultivates a safe and friendly environment where brain injury survivors are given the support they need.
Beyond this, we witness first-hand the rewarding and fulfilling experience of helping brain injury survivors in their recovery journey.
It is heartwarming to be able to help individuals access activities that make them so happy and regain some independence.
